Michelle oversees business development activities related to fund management. In her capacity, she manages investor relations, capital raising, and legal negotiations. She has nearly 20 years of industry experience both in finance and nonprofit work.

 

Previously, Michelle served as Vice President of Marketing and Investor Relations at Senvest Management, a $1.5 billion hedge fund in New York City. There she led strategy, business development and fundraising efforts for the firm’s $120 million technology fund. Prior to Senvest, she worked at Reinvest, a small-cap growth fund, where she managed client relations and worked cross-functionally with the investment committee.  Prior to that, Michelle worked at Atlantic-Pacific Capital, a private equity advisory firm based in Greenwich, Connecticut. There she contributed to capital raises and oversubscriptions of private equity, real estate and infrastructure funds ranging from $500 million to $2 billion. She spent two years working internationally in equities sales and trading at Clal Finance, servicing the bank’s London-based institutional clients. She also worked in the investment banking division of Credit Suisse in New York (CSFB) and Merrill Lynch on Wall Street. Most recently, Michelle came to LISC from serving as Associate Director at an educational nonprofit in the Middle East.

 

Michelle holds an MBA from IDC University in Israel with the joint affiliated University of Pennsylvania Wharton Global Consulting Practicum. She holds a BS in Engineering from Northeastern University, where she graduated summa cum laude.

 

Michelle has lived in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East, and loves learning new languages. She and her family live near Logan Circle in Washington, D.C., and enjoy all the great things in our nation’s capital.
